Awesome! I always wondered what jails look like in Russia and other countries. I was going to try and find some on Google Earth but I dont know the names of them :(

@Tara, Former prison in my hometown of Staraya Russa. Now there is a police station, but police moved into the new building. The building of the former prison will be a colony for juvenile delinquents. http://bit.ly/h1rl03

@Tara, Есть еще три колония особого режима для содержания заключённых, приговорённых к пожизненному сроку. Это: Вологодский пятак в поселке Новоозеро Вологодской области, Ивдель на Урале и колония №18 в Ямало-Ненецком округе.

There are three other colony of special regime for prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment. They are: Vologda penny in settlement Novoozero Vologda region, Ivdel in the Ural and colony № 18 in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.

@Tara. In my hometown of 30,000 residents remained. In 1990 there were 45,000 residents. Men in Russia die. : (

Thats alot :( I wonder how much Australia is reduced by. Ours would be more Traffic accidents I think. Do you know what is the main cause?

Thanks ;-) Can you also see how many deaths? Is there a link?OMG! That prison looks really hard. Thats sad :( Did you see all the tennis courts in our mens prison? Here, our prisons are luxury...hardly a deterrent to stop doing crime :( I think here, they have it too good in prison.

@Tara. In Russia, there should be no death penalty and bad prison. In Russia, the prison sits a lot of innocent people. In Russia, police fear more than fear of bandits. :(
