I just heard about this on the news...very sad :( Im sorry this has happened :(

@JamES why do they put notes on the people? Is it to identify them? Or for the doctors at the hospital to tell them what has already been done?

@fozzytron Вы правы, указывают время наложения жгута. Это делается для профилактики краш-синдрома (синдром длительного сдавливания) http://clck.ru/W/AjHs Переодически жгут ослабляют для кровоснабжения тканей.

The paramedics dont just tell the doctors when they get to hospital? I guess they loose track when dealing with alot of casualties....and so, its easier to write the times down :]
